On 23 November 2018, I hosted an episode of "Desa Live @9" at the Viyathmaga Office, featuring Dr. Priyath Bandu Wickrama as the invited guest.

The programme was organized under the theme "Energy, Development and the Economy", focusing on the importance of the energy sector in national development and its relationship with economic progress.

Energy requirements, infrastructure development, and economic planning are closely connected to both everyday life and a country's long-term development. The discussion provided a platform for presenting the perspectives of a guest with professional experience in these fields.

Through the "Desa Live @9" series, I aimed to use Facebook Live to bring discussions on national issues and professional perspectives to a wider online audience.

This episode forms part of my experience in live programme hosting, digital media communication, and organizing public-interest discussions on subjects relevant to Sri Lanka's development.
