HJM Workshop – Baddegama Electorate

On 25 August 2018, I participated with members of our team in an HJM workshop held in the Baddegama electorate. The gathering brought local active members together in a smaller setting where information could be shared, ideas discussed, and participants could engage directly with one another.

Attorney Premnath C. Dolawatta attended the workshop and addressed the participants, sharing his knowledge and views with the group. Sampath Athukorala and Isuru Dodangoda also joined us and contributed to the gathering. The photographs also preserve a moment when I addressed the participants on behalf of our team.

Amara Dhananjaya Willege supported the programme by providing the venue and assisting with hospitality, while HJM members Udayanga Gamage and Nadeesha Lakmal Gamage, together with others, contributed to the organizational work. Many other members of the HJM family also contributed their time, effort and resources to make the gathering possible.

Unlike a large public rally, a workshop such as this provided an opportunity for closer discussion and interaction among participants. For my personal archive, it remains a memory of the grassroots activities and teamwork in which I was involved during 2018.
