Location: Baddegama, Sri Lanka
Event: Official Website Launch & Public Rally
Chief Guest: Then President Mahinda Rajapaksa
Category: Web Development / Political Events / Professional Milestones

On 10 February 2014, I attended the official launch of Nishantha Muthuhettigama’s website, held in conjunction with a public rally in Baddegama.

Then President Mahinda Rajapaksa attended the event as the Chief Guest, together with political representatives, invited guests, members of the media and a large public gathering.

This event has particular significance in my professional archive because I was involved in the design and development of Nishantha Muthuhettigama’s website. It therefore represents not only a political event I attended, but also an important milestone in my career in web design and development.

At a time when websites and online platforms were becoming increasingly important tools for public and political communication in Sri Lanka, seeing a web project connected with my work officially launched at a major public event made this a memorable moment in my professional journey.
