Opening of Sishara’s Vegetable Shop

A memorable occasion from 22 March 2018, when we attended the opening of Sishara’s new vegetable shop at Jaya Mawatha, Dadigamuwa.

The opening was a simple and meaningful occasion. The shop was prepared with a wide selection of fresh vegetables and other food items, and we had the opportunity to take part in the traditional lighting of the oil lamp to mark the beginning of the new venture.

What made this occasion special was not the scale of the event, but the opportunity to encourage a young person taking an important step towards building something through his own effort. Being there at the beginning of Sishara’s new business journey and extending our best wishes made it a particularly pleasant memory.
