THE STORY
Date: 13 August 2020
Location: Suhurupaya, Battaramulla
On 13 August 2020, I had the opportunity to attend the occasion marking Dr. Nalaka Godahewa's assumption of duties in his newly appointed State Ministerial role.
He had been appointed on 12 August 2020 as the State Minister of Urban Development, Coast Conservation, Waste Disposal and Community Cleanliness, and officially assumed duties the following day at the State Ministry office at Suhurupaya, Battaramulla.
Officials representing institutions under the Ministry were among those present at the occasion. These photographs preserve my personal memory of attending the event as part of my archive of activities and public events during 2020.
