A Beautiful Memory in Matara

A memorable moment with my wife near the Matara beach on 13 April 2018, while we were returning after visiting Mahinda Rajapaksa.

During those years, many of my social and political activities involved travelling to different parts of Sri Lanka. Amid those busy journeys, there were also simple personal moments like this—stopping for a while and spending some time together.

For me, this photograph is therefore more than a memory of that particular journey. It also preserves a personal moment with my wife, who shared many of these journeys and experiences with me during that period of my life.
