Visit to Dickwella Beach and the Fishing Harbour

On 10 August 2020, I visited the Dickwella area and spent time at both the fishing harbour and the nearby coastline.

At the fishing harbour, I had the opportunity to observe the fishing boats, the freshly landed catch and the everyday activity surrounding the harbour. I was also able to purchase some fresh fish directly during the visit.

Later, I spent some time along the Dickwella coast, enjoying the sea, rocky shoreline and surrounding natural environment.

These photographs preserve a simple but memorable day from 2020, combining a glimpse into the everyday life of a southern fishing harbour with time spent by the beautiful southern coast.
