Sri Lanka Information Website
Sri Lanka Heritage was a static HTML website designed and developed by isandi CREATIONS in 2004 as an online information portal dedicated to promoting Sri Lanka's rich cultural, historical, and natural heritage. The website was created to provide both local and international visitors with easy access to information about the country's history, heritage sites, wildlife, hill country, beaches, and tourist attractions.
At a time when information websites were often text-heavy and visually simple, Sri Lanka Heritage introduced a distinctive and uncommon interface featuring custom-designed graphics, image-based navigation, and an attractive layout inspired by Sri Lankan culture. Every visual element, including the banners, navigation buttons, icons, and page structure, was individually designed without using templates, giving the website a unique identity.

Isura Wickramarachchi envisioned Sri Lanka Heritage as an informative online resource that would introduce the country's unique history, culture, environment, and tourism to the world. His goal was to create more than just a tourism website—it was intended to be a digital showcase of Sri Lanka's identity, preserving and presenting valuable information in an attractive and user-friendly format.
With a strong passion for Sri Lankan history and digital media, he commissioned the website using a completely original design that reflected the beauty and character of the island. The project also reflected his long-standing commitment to using technology to educate people and promote Sri Lanka's cultural heritage through innovative web design.
