Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union Official Website – Dynamic Sports Management Portal (2004 Era)
Designed and developed as a dynamic web application for the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union, this project was created to provide an official online platform for promoting Sri Lankan rugby, managing tournament information, and delivering real-time updates to rugby supporters.
The website was developed using ASP (Active Server Pages) technology with a database-driven backend, allowing administrators to easily manage and update website content without modifying the source code. The platform included structured sections covering the complete rugby ecosystem, including:

History of Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union
Rugby has a long tradition in Sri Lanka, dating back to the British colonial period. The first rugby club in the country was formed in 1879, when the Colombo Football Club was established. Rugby quickly became popular among schools, clubs, and communities, particularly in Colombo and Kandy.
The Ceylon Rugby Football Union (CRFU) was officially formed on 10 August 1908 at a meeting held in Colombo with representatives from major rugby-playing regions including Uva, Dimbula, Kelani Valley, Dickoya, Kandy, and Colombo. It was later renamed the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union after the country became Sri Lanka.
