Dhamma Voice Official Website

Project Overview

The Help International Foundation website was designed and developed by Isura Wickramarachchi in 2011 as a charitable web development project supporting a humanitarian and Buddhist social service organisation. The website was created to establish a professional online presence for the foundation while promoting its charitable activities, educational programmes, religious initiatives, and community development projects both within Sri Lanka and internationally.

The platform served as an information portal where donors, volunteers, supporters, and the general public could learn about the foundation's objectives, ongoing projects, completed humanitarian work, future development plans, and methods of contributing to its charitable mission.

Design & Structure

The website featured a warm, community-focused design using gold, cream, red, white, and black, reflecting Buddhist cultural values while maintaining a professional appearance suitable for an international charitable organisation.

Community Contribution

This project was undertaken by Isura Wickramarachchi as part of his ongoing commitment to supporting charitable, educational, and religious organisations through technology.

The website enabled the foundation to:

• Establish a professional international online presence.
• Promote humanitarian projects to a wider audience.
• Share completed and future charitable initiatives.
• Encourage public participation and donations.
• Preserve records of community service activities.
• Improve communication with supporters and volunteers.

By providing the organisation with a professionally designed website, the project helped strengthen its ability to reach donors, supporters, and partner organisations while increasing awareness of its humanitarian mission.

Significance

The Help International Foundation website represents another important community service project completed by Isura Wickramarachchi during his long-standing involvement in developing websites for charitable, educational, and non-profit organisations. Rather than focusing on commercial objectives, the project was created to support humanitarian work by providing a modern digital platform for communicating the foundation's mission and activities.

The website brought together information about community development, educational assistance, Buddhist religious programmes, environmental initiatives, and future charitable projects within a single, well-organised platform. It enabled supporters to better understand the organisation's vision while promoting transparency through the presentation of completed projects, planned initiatives, leadership information, and opportunities for public involvement.

This project reflects Isura Wickramarachchi's broader philosophy that technology should be used not only for business but also for education, religion, humanitarian service, and community development. Through volunteer-driven initiatives such as this, he has helped numerous non-profit organisations establish a lasting digital presence, expanding their ability to reach communities, attract support, and preserve the impact of their social service activities for future generations.
