My Auto Dream was designed and developed by Isura Wickramarachchi in 2008 as a comprehensive online automobile marketplace. Built using PHP/MySQL, the platform allowed vehicle dealers and individual sellers to advertise new and used vehicles while enabling buyers to search, compare, and browse listings through an organised online catalogue.

The website was designed as a complete automotive portal, bringing together vehicle sales, rentals, industry news, galleries, and dealer promotions within a single platform.

Design & Structure

The website featured a modern automotive-themed interface using shades of blue, white, and orange to create a clean and professional appearance. A large promotional banner highlighted featured vehicles and seasonal campaigns, while manufacturer logos provided quick visual recognition of popular automotive brands.

The homepage was organised into a three-column layout:

• The left panel displayed vehicle categories and manufacturer filters for quick browsing.
• The centre section showcased featured vehicles, search filters, promotional campaigns, and the latest listings with detailed vehicle information.
• The right panel contained country filters, advertisements, and additional promotional content, making effective use of available screen space.

The structured layout allowed visitors to navigate large volumes of vehicle listings efficiently while maintaining a clean and organised user experience.
