On November 5, 2011, the official website dedicated to Most Venerable Balangoda Ananda Maitreya Maha Nayaka Thera was launched at a ceremony held at BMICH, Colombo.

The website was personally designed, developed, and sponsored by me as a voluntary contribution to preserving and promoting Sri Lanka's Buddhist religious and cultural heritage.

The primary objective of the project was to establish an online resource dedicated to the life, teachings, scholarly contributions, and religious service of one of Sri Lanka's most respected Buddhist monks, making this heritage accessible to future generations through digital technology.

The launch ceremony was attended by members of the Buddhist clergy and included religious observances and traditional cultural performances. Photographs from the occasion document the participation of the Maha Sangha and the ceremonial atmosphere surrounding the event.

For me, this project represented an opportunity to apply my professional skills in web design and development to a meaningful religious and cultural initiative. It remains an important milestone in my early voluntary digital heritage projects, reflecting my commitment to using technology for education, cultural preservation, and community service.
