Singer Mariazelle Goonatileke Website
Designed and developed as a fully interactive Flash-based multimedia website, this project was created to showcase the musical career of Sri Lankan singer Mariazelle Gunathilake. The website was developed during the early era of Flash web design, combining animation, sound, graphics, and interactive navigation to create an engaging online experience.
The project featured a Flash 4.0 powered interface with a dedicated landing page where visitors could select their preferred browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator) before launching the website in a separate popup window. The Flash presentation included background music featuring her songs, animated transitions, and a visually rich multimedia experience.
The website contained detailed information about Mariazelle’s musical journey, her albums, song collections, photo gallery, biography, and contact information. The design focused on presenting her artistic identity through custom graphics, animations, and interactive content.

This project represents an early generation of rich multimedia web development, where Flash technology was used to create immersive websites that combined music, animation, photography, and interactive storytelling. It demonstrated advanced web design techniques of that period and provided an innovative digital platform for promoting a Sri Lankan music artist.
