OCIC – SIGNIS Film Awards Ceremony - 2011

On 14 October 2011, I attended the OCIC – SIGNIS Film Awards Ceremony held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo. The event recognized outstanding achievements in Sri Lankan cinema and brought together leading filmmakers, actors, musicians, and distinguished personalities from the country's film industry.

During the ceremony, I had the opportunity to meet and take photographs with several well-known personalities, including Roshan Ranawana, renowned composer Rohana Weerasinghe, and many other respected figures from Sri Lanka's cinema and performing arts community.

At the time, I was actively involved in promoting and documenting Sri Lankan cinema through Films.lk, one of the country's leading entertainment websites. This role allowed me to cover major national film events, award ceremonies, premieres, and industry gatherings while building valuable professional relationships with artists and filmmakers. Attending the OCIC – SIGNIS Film Awards Ceremony remains one of the memorable highlights of my journey in Sri Lanka's film and digital media industry.
