Launch of the Official Website of Ven. Balangoda Ananda Maitreya Thero

On 28 August 2011, the official website dedicated to Most Venerable Balangoda Ananda Maitreya Thero was ceremonially launched at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo. The website was developed as a charitable, non-profit initiative with the objective of preserving and promoting the life, teachings, and Buddhist scholarship of one of Sri Lanka's most revered Buddhist monks through modern digital technology.

The launch ceremony was attended by members of the Maha Sangha, government officials, scholars, devotees, and students. The event highlighted the importance of preserving the spiritual legacy, writings, and contributions of Ven. Balangoda Ananda Maitreya Thero while making these valuable resources accessible to Buddhists and researchers around the world through the Internet.

I had the privilege of designing and developing this charity website project, contributing to its technical implementation and successful launch. Being involved in a project dedicated to preserving Sri Lanka's Buddhist heritage through technology was both a professional honor and a meaningful opportunity to support the dissemination of Buddhist knowledge for future generations. It remains one of the most rewarding non-profit web development projects in my career.
